Setting:
Hyde Park - The park has lovely arches covered with leaves and flowers which I think will match the costumes and the theme.
The Thames Path - The Thames Path on a sunny day is a great place to record since the cool colours contrast the warm pinks of the costumes.
The BFI Southbank - The top of the BFI building has a rooftop garden. It's generally quiet as not many people go there, so it's a great place to record some of the shots. There is also a view on the London eye and a bridge.
Angel station - I chose to record inside the angel station in order to use the station sign as a semiotic. I will need to obtain a permission to record there.
Café Nero - I have chosen to record in the café Nero in Southbank. The cafe is cozy, which is what I am looking for. It is also near BFI, which is where I recorded remaining footage.
Costumes:
The artist: I want the artist to wear soft and warm toned colours such as pastels and pinks. I also want the artist to wear dress for the emphasis of femininity.
The remaining actors: The other two actors who will be helping me, will be wearing black and more masculine clothing such as shits or hoodies and trousers. This is to contrast the artist and the idea of girls having to be feminine.
There will be no need for props.
Intertextuality: I have planned a shot, where the actors recreate the famous scene from the 1977 movie 'Titanic'.
